Project Mexico Work Day 1
We went on a missions trip to Mexico, Project Mexico, OBT (Orthodox Basic Training). Here are some photos from our first work day. We mixed the concrete by hand and laid the foundation of the home.

Sunday Golfing
Last year I had the whole summer off, because I quit my job. While i was looking for a new job, my dad insisted that I learn to play golf. When I told him I didn't want to, he told me I was "stupid." Most people might think- Ouch! That's mean... well not in my family, those are words of encouragement. So- to not be "Stupid" I took on his challenge and now I enjoy it. He mainly thought it was good for our marriage because now we will have more things to do together.
Josh, my dad and I usually go Bowling or golfing. It was sunny and 70-so we had to take advantage of that. Today we went to the Par 3 course I learned to play golf on. (Par 3 means put the ball in the hole within 3 hits).

Golfing is really hard, I just figured out how to use my driver- I have swung this club so many times today, I have a blister in my palm and the skin on my thumb is peeling off-

The golf course was really crowded, sometimes you have to wait for the people to finish in front of you before you can go. Josh was entertaining us with his skills. But at the end you can hear my dad losing amusement and saying " Okay, Now Jennie Hit the (ball)".

No dad, I'm not stupid!

North Carolina- Dan Dillard's Wedding
Sorry for the late posts- See this is why I was hesitant about starting this blog. There's so much pressure to keep this thing updated.
We went to Dan and Stephanie's wedding. It rained a lot but NC is beautiful! We flew into Knoxville and drove 2 hrs. This little road trip was fun!
We stayed at the same hotel with the Schmidts and the Gaspard's- It was the best time!
Here is Clay, Katie and Ana going to the Biltmore home- walking in the rain, Ana was such a good sport!
Josh is a good sport too!

On our first year anniversary we went to Prague- That's when we still had flight benefits.
This year was our 5th anniversary- We went to a friends wedding it was nice to remember ours without the stress! It's strange because I don't really remember what we did on our other anniversary's... I guess that's how it goes.
